Application Instructions

SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT

The substrate shall be clean, free of contamination, loose particles and dust.

MIXING

Use 1 part Sika-2 to 2 parts of Ordinary Portland Cement. Place Sika-2 into a suitable clean mixing bowl and add the Ordinary Portland Cement. Stir quickly into a paste for a few seconds.

APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS

Mould the paste with a gloved hand into a plug and place immediately into the crack, fissure or hole pressing firmly for ~15 seconds until the mix has hardened.

It is recommended to only mix sufficient material that can be placed immediately.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.Hardened material may only be removed mechanically.

Sika-2 Limitations

• Do not dilute
• Very strong leaks may need controlling using discharge points before the plug can be placed
• Working and hardening times are affected by tem-peratures, source and age of the Ordinary Portland Cement. It is recommended to make an initial pre-trial.
